A film you despise but find other people love. Details on why you hated it.

So again, tell me a film that you absolutely despise cannot watch a second time, and why I'm really eager to have a debate on this topic. So hopefully I'll get some takers

Talking about a film you completely disliked but find the majority loved. Tell me why you hated it. What was it that really turned you off?

I only saw The Dark Knight once, and I saw it when it was in theaters because, of course, that was what everyone was talking about. And I can definitely understand why Heath Ledger was the only nominee for that movie. It was probably the only nominee who deserved it. In my opinion, I think what I didn't like about it was I felt like all of the good guys just came out as very boring to me. It could be because I don't care much for Batman

It's because it's a Disney film and because it was made for a very particular demographic. But I saw the second one and thought it was way better. I was completely blown away by how much more I enjoyed it than the first one. And also I think Scarface is just a bad movie, and I think that Al Pacino is bad in it. I understand why it's been sort of co opted by a bunch of people that think it makes them look badass if they like Scarface

@FilmStarlet

Hello, film starlet. I have not been on Swell in quite a while because I was not getting any responses to my posts. Absolutely no response. So I got off of it it for a little while, but I'm back on and I saw your reply and here's something that's going to be really surprising to you. I have not seen The Dark Knight, and I've talked with people about this as well, and they're shocked that I have not seen it

I know it was popular, but I have never seen it, but I know my niece loved it. She loved the Elsie and all that. So I would hear about it from her, but I've never seen the movie. But I do have to disagree with you on Scarface. It's not the Palma's best film, but it's a gritty, entertaining film. And I think Pacino played Tony Montana magnificently
