Faithfulness Even When Its Painful Part 1
Sometimes it means submitting to a plan we haven't seen, submitting to a wheel he never told us about submitting to a life of solitude. Wherever he throws at us, we must stay faithful and not let our emotions and things around us control how we respond. It is so hard sometimes to be thankful, even when it feels like you have nothing. As I tell people all the time, even when you have nothing, you still have something to be thankful for, because you are nothing. Could be so much more than someone else. I listen to people all the time complain about how much they have to work and blah, blah. And then I say, well, compared to so and so, you've got it pretty easy

I mean, he could snap his fingers and make things change and make things go away, but he doesn't because he works through the pain, because that makes us grow and makes us stronger and makes us rely 100% on Him. And, you know, when I was on the verge of divorce and I was a verge of losing everything with my family and everything losing my wife, it was a very painful time. And God came through

When I first gave my life to Christ, I wanted to get married. I wanted to have kids. And when it didn't happen for me and I see other people, to me, in my mind, I didn't feel like deserved it. I was like, Why did they have marriage? Why do they get to have kids? And I had to learn and go through a process that what they have might not be for me. You get what I'm saying?
All that stopped. And for most people, some people might find this silly, but it really bothered me. And it bothered me to have to just lean on him, but bothered me not to have that communication. So I get what you're saying. Well, you have to go through pain sometimes to get to a certain point, and that was painful. And when I got through it, I realized it was a process.
