Trump to face criminal charges! What does this mean for the country?

article image placeholderHouse Jan. 6 committee recommends criminal charges against Trump
When you start to face criminal charges for something, now that puts everything out there, because now you're facing criminal charges and criminal penalties. So if they weren't happy, if his followers weren't happy about him losing the election, how unhappy would they be for him to be possibly put in prison? What do you guys think?

I can even see people saying, this is for George Floyd, this is for blah, blah, blah, this is for et cetera. And it's going to be a lot of jubilation. And then reality was set in that not much has really changed, but at least, I don't know, something happened, came from the insurrection, the riots, however you want to call it

Fair question with no easy answer

And I also think that even if Joe Biden let's say Joe Biden tomorrow, pardon Donald Trump, I don't know that that solves anything. I don't know that that puts us in any better situation. And I agree with you. If Jack Smith continues and goes down this road and actually wants to prosecute Donald Trump, it is going to be looked upon as a witch hunt by Donald Trump supporters. There is zero doubt about that

So I think I'm going to set the overarching question aside for the moment because I have other questions that are sort of at the root of this, is if we say that because previous presidents were not charged with certain crimes, does that mean we should continue with that? Is that helpful overall to sort of sweep some things under the rug for the nation? I since we did it that way before, is that something we should continue doing?

I think there's going to be a big division in the top, like in the White House, in the top government because you actually can see it now. Like here in Milwaukee, we just elected our first black mayor. He's finding things out. And once he finds something out, he goes straight to the TV. He goes straight to the media so that people know what's going on. And that's exactly what Trump did

There's only so many new cats living on this earth right now, so I don't see them putting him in prison. I don't see that. I see this as just a move to get it to where he cannot run again, which I don't want him to run again anyway. I don't want him or Biden to run. I mean, it's another topic. But I don't want no 80 year old presidents. I just don't

Both choices are, hey, you either you either let him leave him alone and let him just continue to do what he's been doing, or you f*** with him and possibly make it worse and possibly, very possibly spark a civil war. And there's no doubt about it that the mentality is there. And once the mentality is there, the war is always preceded by what the mentality? You know what I mean?

I don't really see a whole lot of difference outside of maybe method, methods, you know, methodology and how they get s*** done. That's about it. But they both have the same interest, the same basic interest at heart, which is, of course, the preservation of the United States power and the Constitution, and more importantly, their power, because if America stays powerful, they stay powerful. But that's another subject. But yes, I think that now
