Where to go for a taste?

article image placeholderUploaded by @MSRICO626
So I remembered pre pandemic, of course, that on Fridays, after five, most liquor stores used to have free wine tasting. And then on Saturdays, basically all day. So there was no real limit until they ran out. Basically, I happened to call my local liquor store. I won't even say winery because it is a liquor store. They sell beer, wine and spirits. And they told me that because of the pandemic, they're still not doing any wine tasting

One resource that I had during the pandemic that I really liked was there was a liquor store that opened up not too far away from me. And when I say liquor store, we have this sort of typical image in our head of a place where you could buy scratchers Lotto tickets and, like packs of peanuts and cigarettes and stuff like that. But this was really and truly a liquor store. It was just dedicated to spirits and wines, and the shop is probably no bigger than maybe 30ft by 30ft

Hey, Taylor, it's Sandra. Thank you so very much for that great suggestion. I am out here in Maryland, so there are a couple of wineries. I've actually gone to a couple of Maryland Wine Fest prepanddemic, and I have to say I was not excited by the lines, but I'm still trying them. More importantly is I do agree. I need to get out more and do that outdoorsy stuff before it really rolls in with the cold and the wintery feelings
