And the elderly lady at the end of the block, she got to the place where she couldn't live by herself anymore, and so she ended up moving out. And I think now she's passed away. But I just remember when neighbors would check on one another, when neighbors would grill out together, watch football games together, play out in the yards together. If I needed to borrow some sugar, I could borrow some sugar from my neighbor

At times, I've been guilty of not being the most optimal neighbor. But then again, I'm not a homeowner. I hope in the future to be more neighborly to the individuals around me. Hopefully, in due time, they would be a little bit more friendly to our family

I don't know if she stayed or what have you, but, yeah, I know the feeling of what it's like to try to be a good neighbor. Even when you're in an apartment. It can be difficult. But I've been blessed that two apartments, one house. I've always had pretty decent neighbors, so I've been blessed in that sense. But, yeah, I can work on being a better neighbor too

They keep to themselves and I come on too friendly to them. You could see the fair in their eyes. It amuses me no end. But seriously, people need to stop being a rid of each other

This is a hundred percent true. In the United States, we are taught to be more individual minded rather than community minded. But with that being said, though, I mean, if you knocked on someone's door, if you knocked on your neighbor's door, I'm sure they would try their best to help you. Unless they really are abiding in a fear culture where, no, they don't want to be bothered
