Instead of making you either pick it up or come back when you're home. Hopefully when you're home. So I did that. I printed off the form last night. I put it on my door and left it on my door this morning. So while I'm at the orthodontist office. I get a notification from FedEx. Telling me that they could not deliver my package. No explanation as to why they just couldn't deliver my package. So I called the FedEx customer service line

And why have the standards in retail settings dropped to an all time low? Customer service standards are at zero. They're at rock bottom. People flat out don't care. They do the bare minimum to earn their wage, and that's about it. They ain't doing nothing else. I've worked in retail several times, and it was a long time ago. The last time I worked in retail was probably the mid two thousands. And when I worked at Kroger part time, temporarily

Now, we don't know the difference. As consumers, we're not supposed to. We just see a truck. But much like you said when they told you there's different offices, it's crazy because we'll get a delivery, and maybe we're sending something back, and the FedEx guy will come to our job, and we'll say, oh, we have a package for you. Oh, that's not mine

Hey, sis. Thank you so much for your response. Oh, my gosh. I felt convicted when I listened to your response. I did call back to that FedEx location, and I spoke to the manager and apologized for knocking over the sign. She said she understood, you know, she said she understood my frustration. And she said, you know, the different FedEx locations aren't linked together, so they can't network with each other to get to the bottom of customer issues

Either she's a ghost that's see through and my package is see through as well, or she never showed up. Those are y'all two options right there. And come to find out, of course, she had never shown up. I spoke with the head person of USP's mind, you

Hey, Tanya, I didn't mean to climb. You bought that sign, but I'm telling you, girl, I just had a whole visual of your purse accidentally bumping into the sign. Girl, you swung that person, that person all kinds of force over your shoulder. You was like, well, if the sign gets it, the sign gets it. He should have been out the way. But I'm happy to hear that you called and that you both

Pay attention to what you're delivering. Read where you're going. And I constantly have to get on the phone, be like, look, let me tell you something. I'm not Finna have it. Don't. And I told them, don't. Don't use them to deliver my stuff. I can't have it. I just can't anymore. Because they don't get it right. They just never get it right. So. Well, you said you wouldn't

Hey, first let me start by saying customer service is a lost art. I remember there used to be a time to where everybody wouldn't get hired for a customer service job. Like, you had to have a special skill set. You had to have the voice, you had to have the professionalism, the etiquette, just so many different things

Hey, sis, thank you so much for your response. And I love the care that your husband took to make sure that that customer felt heard, felt seen in that moment and that her situation, her concern was just as important to him as it was to her. The last two situations I've had, I did a swell about my situation with Home Depot and here today with FedEx

This is what the service you want to provide for that kind of money? It's just insane. But thank you for helping me to laugh at myself, because it is funny. It was so funny at the time. I was like, did I really do this? Are they going to call the cops on me? Oh, my gosh. But thank you so, so much, sis. I appreciate it

When I go into a bank, I'm a customer. And so in places where I am a customer, then the term and the idea of customer service fits. But in a hospital or clinic, I'm a patient. So please don't call me a customer. But you're right, I do remember when customer service actually required training and they would train you on providing customer service. I worked at JC Penney back in the early two thousands. Before they're under their

You cannot alter that. What you can do is request that the package be held at that stage station and you can come pick it up. Normally, normal hours for FedEx, they might close at 08:00 it depends. But, you know, you can pick it up at one of those substation or Walgreens or wherever a ship is. You can do that. But it's, it really the drivers, I guess I am kind of defending the drivers. They can't release the package
