Eboni K Williams says, She will only date a bus driver if he owns the bus!

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
They're not meeting the standard as far as leadership. In her mind, there's just no quality men out here. And so she stated that she continued to state that she had been with a lot of different men from a lot of different backgrounds and demographics and stuff, and she's just not finding quality men for what she is looking for. And so Tanya proceeds to ask her, would she date a bus driver

@Taw2

But then why are they not marrying women like Ebony, who has all the things on paper you listed that wouldn't that seem like something a man would want? But what I've learned is that men don't really care about our money. They don't really care about our status, and they don't really care about those things. They don't really care about our money. Because if he's a provider, why does he care about our money?

It's like you said, she's in a setting of status she's publicly seen every day. Right? So she's a public figure, so there's expectations she has to live into. Just look, for example, at Share, you mentioned black women, but I think it's any woman that has a significant income or has higher standards of living or expected to or seemingly so. Right. And they date down. That's what I call it, dating down. Right

And I guess Steadman has done some stuff, but honestly, I only know him as Oprah's, man. That's all I know him as. So usually there's that balance. The big time NBA star is married to a nanny, and that's kind of how I see a lot of relationships. Are they're not power couples? Lisa Nichols just got married at what, 52, 53. I don't know her. Husband until she posted him, who's this cat?

@MsColes77 as an outsider, I have a question on this 😁

So as I understand, the woman in question made a statement that bus drivers are not among the category of men that she would want to date. And my question is, well, that's a personal preference. Why is it seen as negative or why is that seen as wrong? For example, I know a lot of people have height as a filter or a criteria. They want their partner to be of a certain height. Maybe religion, maybe language is spoken, maybe cultural background

So when it comes to dating down, I think that's subjective. I don't think that that is something that is a common term used throughout the dating scene or the marriage scene. I think when it comes to dating down, that depends on the person. Maybe she, even though she makes six figures, doesn't feel like she's dating down. Maybe she feels like she has the greatest man on earth with his job as a starving artist

Hey, thank you so much for responding to my swell cast. So basically, it wasn't so much that Ebony does not want to marry or date a bus driver. It was basically her response to the question that was presented when she was asked, would she marry a bus driver? She just said, if he owned the bus, as if to say the bus driver is beneath her, that's beneath her standard

I think it works sometimes when you have one that doesn't mind being low profile, allowing the other person to have their moment in the spotlight, or that understands that they're married to a high profile person, that's going to get a lot of attention and so they're not competing with each other for that kind of attention. So, yeah, I think those relationships do tend to work. Well, thank you so much for responding

Because I could see if both people are always busy and both people are always on the phone and always moving and shaking, how are you even building a relationship? So it seems nice and somebody's on your level, quote unquote. But like I said, for me, my personal experience, even just being a government employee and having responsibility, it's nice to have even that balance when you come home. So have a blessed one

So here's my thoughts on this. Two entertainers sat on TV to talk about whether or not they would date a man who isn't an entertainer. I'm sorry. Not sorry. Yamla van Zant gets paid to talk. Ebony K. Williams is clearly getting paid to talk. I'm here talking, and ain't nobody paying me me just saying research has been done

And so as long as we're making statements like that, these people are not trying to do a $3,000 wedding or less. Because clearly, somehow and women seem to think that knowing your worth means you got to spend thousands and thousands and thousands upon thousands of dollars for everything. Whether it's your wedding, you have to have a luxury car, you have to have the perfect lace front install that cost $1,000. How are we getting it together?

Let's help these single parents that want to be married move into that direction, if that's what they want. And helping people with divorce and different things like that, those things are valuable. Those things are very valuable. But not sitting around and hearing black men talk about why black women won't get married and all this other nonsense, you're right. It does get to be crazy. And yes, it is about entertainment

Looking fpr " Fruits" with BAD " ROOTS" Better vs " B" I" Itter… .. I"" am The Differnce and " GOOD THING"… #GODISTHRIFTY

I believe in allowing people to deeper thought. So I'm going to say this knowing that I have already answered the question within myself by taking myself into a place where I have began to pull roots out of my genetics, my lineage, so that I may produce the good kingdom fruits for my generations coming. With that being said, a lot of women in our community have roots that are from generations. We don't want to address the real issue sometimes in our community
