Solo Parenting vs. Single Parenting

And so she was going to choose a solo parenting route such as in vitro fertilization to attain her goal of conceiving a child in the absence of a husband in the picture. So I just found this to be quite intriguing that we now have two categories of single parent homes. Essentially two categories of single parent homes depending on your circumstance of how you became a single parent. I don't know if I agree with this, because essentially, if you're solo, that means you're doing it alone

Is there a difference or are they the same?

And he's like, what am I doing? So I think sometimes they've thrown men completely out the picture, and then women will say things like, well, I need all the help I can get because I'm single and dad is there. They're not together, but he's there. So it's just a weird, complicated thing. I think I've always said things like, I'm a single woman with children. I've said anything but a single mom thing

@DearAuntyAng

Like, I'm a single mother, but I'm not that kind of single mother. I'm a single mother, but I was married when I had my kids. You're right. It's like this superiority thing. I'm not that kind of single mother

Part 1

I do not like the term single in front of the phrase because for me it is what difference does it make? At the end of the day? This person is a parent. That person is a parent. What does their marital status in front of the term parent have to do with anything? Now, if you're talking about resources, then yes, make that distinction

Part 2

And people will be able to identify single parent as the true dynamic of a single parent, whether it was the other person died or they chose to have a baby in a nontraditional way. Other than that, I believe if two people are involved and they're just not together that like I said, judicial system should get involved and make something happen with that

And these little things that they're doing, these little bitty things that they're doing, they're doing these little bitty things to hide, to cover up the big things that they're doing that really will impact bad, right? But they put out these little bitty things like this, these little bitty insignificant things to try to keep people distracted from what they're really doing. Oh my goodness. Solo parenting, single parenting, it's all you raising a kid by yourself, okay?

@AndreaSpeaks

Unless you are co parenting, you are raising a child alone. And so it doesn't matter how you got there. It doesn't matter what road, what path, what decisions, what life events happen to get you there. All of you have this one thing in common, and that's that you're raising your kids alone
