Episode Discussion on ‘Star Trek Discovery’ 3x11 "Su’Kal"

article image placeholderSu’Kal
Hey, guys, out there, what's up, talking to all my Star Trek Discovery fans out there that's been watching the show and that, you know, may or may not be loving season three so far. So the big thing for season three. Yes, we've traveled off into this future, this distant future of 31 88. Now 31. 89 is the burn and what actually caused the burn? This has kind of been a driving force for Burnham and friends this season

Soo disappointing. I think I have the solution!! 🤣 @mrburnham

What do you do with a child who can't handle their emotions because, well, they've never learned how to like, do you put him in counseling, keep him in this space. And then what? No one's safe at this point, no matter how far away they are from him. I don't know. Maybe the next episode will make it a little better. Maybe I got it. Forget therapy

Is there more to it?

Sinking plum. I'm right there with you. If Sukal is in fact the source of the burn, which we did see in this episode. We saw him have a temper tantrum, and, you know, we see the the pulse come from the Dalitian planet. If that sexual cause, it just feels bad in addition to them using the child term, which they totally stole from Star Wars Mandalorian. That feels bad as well. But I'm thinking there's a twist

Maybe I doubt that that will be the case. And then it will be all the more disappointing. I do like the new tech being able to transport oneself without the help of anyone else from anywhere to anywhere. That's kind of cool. But, you know, in the grand scheme of things, how much does that really? How much does that really weigh, anyway? Yes. Next episode. I think there's only two left. Right. It will be interesting
