Guilty Pleasure Movies and one of the best of the bottom of the barrel: "Con Air".

And the way this movie is played, I think everybody involved knows that it's Jerry Brookheimer production from the latter ninety s I actually saw this thing on the theater opening day, and I could not help but to go, wow, what the h*** was that? And in the same breath, I think I almost said the words. Wow, I can't wait to see that again

We all love guilty pleasure movies (I do!) and I’ll get into one of the best of them: "Con Air". What’s your favorite guilty pleasure movie? #conair

You. Wow, what a fantastic topic. Guilty pleasure movies. I've recently, I've, like, removed guilty from guilty pleasure, so they're just pleasure movies. I don't think, you know, anyone should feel guilty about watching anything, but I get it as a concept, my guilty pleasure movies, for me, a lot of it are like, childhood movies that I grew up watching. Hey there. Thank you so much for chiming in. I think, you know, in some roundabout way, guilty pleasures can almost kind of stem to all movies. I mean, you know, movies like literature in some ways and other or mediums that kind of count on the suspension of disbelief to kind of get you through

But anyway, so one of my guilty pleasure films, another one is Vampire in Brooklyn with Eddie Murphy, starring Eddie Murphy as a vampire. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It's funny. It's a funny movie. Angela Basket. So, yeah, one love. Love. Guilty pleasure movies. I ill something like, if I'm in Theo mood, I'm not in the mood of watching, like, a great film or a movie that's even good

Music. Wow. I totally agree on, like, you know, not wanting to watch an incredible film sometimes, like, a very artistic, cinematic film and just wanting to kind of watch something very entertaining and, like, fun. Yeah. And oftentimes those movies aren't rated very highly by critics. Sometimes those are very deceiving. Thank you for the wreck of Vampire in Brooklyn and the breakup. Those sound very cool, and I will definitely watch them

They didn't try to think about the name too much. They kept it pretty straightforward. But that's how I got introduced to those kind of kung fu movies. And some friends of mine, we used to be really big on, like, Armor of God and Meals on Wheels, like, with Samuel Hong. And we would literally find those at, like, these dinky video stores that we had around us, and we kind of stumbled across them

And it's like, well, yeah, that's what makes it so great. Guilty pleasure movies aren't supposed to be profound. They're supposed to just kind of fill that need and fill that void of just some type of excitement or entertainment. Love, love, love, love, love, love. Guilty pleasure movies. I ill goes hand in hand with not only this subject, but the movie. Con Air is gone in 60 seconds. Oh, man, talk about guilty pleasure

Bro. Those Hong Kong films, bro, you know, those Hong Kong martial arts movies were off the chain. Not even Theo. Captain America dan pool school. They're technically martial arts movies, right? Technically. Right now they got nothing on some old school 1986 Hong Kong movies, but, yeah, God love the old school, man. Love the old school. They were doing things so far here at theo time, in my opinion

Hey there. And, oh, yes, the Hong Kong film industry even now, and they've they've set trends that now have gone global. But it was always interesting to see how I love the fact that Hong Kong film industry, jackie Chan and Chowyun Fat and John Woo, you have all these great directors and actors as well, filmmakers that really did their own thing. I think we love to talk about there's always great conversations about mavericks and cinema and filmmaking
