Dame Dench!

I picked Judy Dench not just cause she's 86 and still gorgeous, but because she's played such a wide range of roles. I mean, like Meryl Streep. Absolutely. But she plays vulnerable, like no one plays vulnerable. She could be just a damsel in distress and then emerge in the same film as the strong kick a** woman and Filament

Bergman!

She's electrifying in a way that I feel is very unique to her, not something I see replicated by a lot of people. I think she's really, truly one of the great, really interested to see the results here because like I said, these are heavy hitters. I mean, I would not be surprised at all if there's a landslide in some other direction. But I have to go with Ingrid Bergman

Meryl

Out of these, I picked Meryl Streep just because she constantly inspires me, and I'm really excited to see how her career continues to develop. If I were able to add a name, though, I definitely would pick Marlena Dietrich

Audrey & Rita (Classy Hollywood)

So this is a very interesting topic that I found fascinating. I couldn't even think of one off the top of my head. I had to actually go back and look at my old library of films and stuff like that. But two actresses in particular, I think, stand out for me as far as great actresses of their time. One of them was Rita Hayworth. And I grew up watching a lot of Rita Hayworth films because my grandmother was so into Rita Hayworth. Rita Hayworth was stunningly gorgeous

One last thing. I have to apologize, Taylor. You said Ingrid Bergman and I apologize. You did say that. And again, I agree with you on her. She had that classiness to her style. I think she was probably probably one of the first female actors to actually look and come out in a man's tuxedo and just pulled it off. So. Well, I agree with you on that

Helen Mirren or Judi Dench for sure

You know, I had a difficult time choosing between Judi Dench and Helen Mirren. And I finally went with Helen Mirren. But I think it's a tie

Susan Sarandon

I realize I've seen probably the majority of her films, and I know that she fights for civil rights and social justice. She's very active that way. And she's a pacifist. And so I find a lot to admire in her character as well. She's really genuine. And I just haven't been charmed the same way as others by Hepburn. But I do love street very much. So that was a tough one. But yeah, I'm going with Sarandon. Thanks

Jane Fonda!

And I love how she excels in all those self assured and centered kind of roles that she's. But she's done quite a bit of them so that's there. And of course, her smoky, sultry voice is something I totally love. So yeah, it's Jane Fonda for me. It's

Great choices! For me it was Ingrid Bergman Vs Audrey Hepburn

I have not seen too much of her work, so I can't really comment on that from here. But I wanted to come to what Ram and Taylor said because those are the two actresses that I have had a tough time choosing between. So that's Ingrid Bergman and Audrey Hepburn. I really like both of them and Ingrid Bergman for obviously Casablanca, Notorious and all the other great movies she has done

Judi Dench, but that was so tough

No Susan Sarandon as well. I think needs to have a mention as well. I did Hover over her for a bit as well, but I eventually went for Judy Dench because as a whole, I think that she has been in a lot of films, playing very memorable characters and very diverse in the characters that I've seen her play over the years, and it's definitely on top of my list of people I would love to meet

just angry 😤. 🤣🤣🤣

I would also add Gene Arthur is also in my top five. And Ginger Rogers. Now I get that Gene Arthur and Ginger Rogers didn't have the star power of these other actresses. The two of them and Marilyn Row, their range was not as good, but still in terms of classic Hollywood, they're my favorite. So how could you do this to me? How could you, Arish

@Tim

Hi Tim. Yes, that is a fair criticism. I would say I will let you in on a secret. This poll was something of a cheat. I was actually trying to create another poll, and the tool I was using had this as a as their template, as a reference example. And I like the question so much and the answers and choices they had that I had to ask the service community. So I just posted the poll as it was as they had created without changing anything

And the winner is…

Okay, Drumroll, the results are in and the winner getting 30% of the overall vote is Meryl Streep. So quite a few of you voted for her and I can confirm completely. I think it's a justified when she seems to win everywhere, all the Oscars and everything else that she has won. So I think this is a fitting little tribute to her from the swell community as well
