Shree 420

article image placeholderShree 420 - Wikipedia
But this film was directed by Raj Kapoor and starred. Raj Kapoor came out in 1955. And boy, is it just a fantastic fun film. And you can tell that Raj Kapoor is channeling Charlie Chaplin in this film, particularly the work that he did in Little Tramp. Now I wanted to read a synopsis for those of you who haven't seen the film, and maybe it will lead you to check it out

Now, obviously, he knows just a few, but they came back to him the rhythm and the lyrics just like it was yesterday sort of. And it was really beautiful for me to see, because I haven't really seen my dad have that sort of emotional response to a movie in quite some time. And we love sharing photos homes together. So I was really glad to be able to share this experience with them

I can recommend more movies from that era. If you're interested. Those are black and white Hindi movies. However, if you want to retry at Bollywood and you have to watch one movie, the one movie I would recommend is movie from the 1970s movie called Shree, which is India's Star Wars. It has that kind of cult iconic status in India as Star Wars has for the American public. So check that one out

Varumayin Niram Sigappu

And also I will just recommend you one movie in Tamil which is Varome Niram Siva which is great movie by Kamal Hasan, which explains a lot of things like if you are a middle class person and have you gone to survive, your dad will not support you and have you gone a survey with your own interest and it's a great film to watch. And I would highly recommend it. And also Chole is a great movie you should watch. And yes, that's what I have to show you

And I think we sort of need to try and get away from that now, now that we've had a taste of all these major blockbuster films that pull in billions of dollars, I think we need to go back to the storytelling because we've been losing sight of it and it's amazing to watch a film like like this, which I'm sure was made for not a lot of money in context, and it just had me so completely captivated the entire time. I really, really enjoyed it
