Got to see Quentin Tarantino on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"…I don't think it's the best movie ever made, although I do think it is one of the best movies ever made. But when it comes from his mouth, it has a lot of weight to it. And then jokingly. But I mean, he's Tarantino, how much of a joke is this? He said the first movie he's going to show his son, who is 15 months old, is taxi Driver, of course, course.…"

Amazing to be one of the 100 people present for the interview!

"…Hey, GRENIN Tarantino is actually my favorite director as well. I love love, love his movies, especially Django Unchained. It's definitely my favorite movie of all time. I'd say mostly because it's such an amazing story. And more importantly, after I'd say the whole Black House Matter movement and all that stuff, I like watching Django and Chain because it kind of shifts the narrative because you have the story of a slave, and you also have the story of a bounty Hunter.…"

"…Hey, thank you so much for the reply. And I totally agree with you. You made a lot of really fantastic points, one that I want to highlight the first handful of films in his career. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, The Kill Bill Series. Those are obviously some of my favorite films. But what I really enjoy about the last half, I guess you would say of his directorial life is his take on revisionist history. We got that with Django Unchained.…"

"…I had seen it a long time ago, but yeah, it was just I couldn't understand for the life of me, why was it so hyped? But then I started really watching movies, like not just for entertainment, but also for all the aspects, all the efforts that have been put in behind the movies, behind the making. And that's how I truly started appreciating the art of cinema. And that's when I surely understood what a genius Tarantino is.…"

"…I think it's a really brilliantly executed film, one that does revisionist history in a brutal way, very artfully crafted way, one that I felt really blended his sort of earlier ultraviolence styles with I think the more at times toned down storytelling, even though that movie can be seen as quite over the top. I think that when you compare it to some of his earlier films, it's a bit more grounded in reality.…"
