Cabin life part 2

But what we do have for plumbing is an outhouse. And the interesting thing about this outhouse is that it has two seats, so that two people could go at the same time. I have no idea why anybody would want to do that. And in the 35 years that we've lived there at the cabin, I don't think anybody's ever actually done that, although I could be wrong. The outhouse itself has electricity, so it has lighting, but it doesn't have heat

But there's something so nice about being able to flush a toilet and not have to worry about falling into the stuff you flush flushed. Also to be able to wash your hands or take a warm shower. So I see now why it seemed like your previous cabin swell that I commented on seemed like a relatively short stay. I don't think that you would be able to stay super long in the wintertime. I feel like just bathing would be really challenging, let alone going outside

Yeah, there's no way to bathe. There's a pond down the road, but I think it's private. There is a crick also, I suppose you could use. We have a spring, but it freezes when it's cold. And we do have to bring our own water up typically for washing dishes and stuff like that, and cooking. But yeah, it would be really hard to stay up there long term, so
