What happened to the Olympics? No pride in the games anymore.

And it just seems now that there's too much like politics or just not a lot of empowerment and power that feels within Olympics. I was watching some ice skating, like racing. I definitely just butchered what it's called, but it just feels like there's nothing that really brings us together anymore, especially Olympics. I remember, like as I was saying, all these sports used to bring us together. There used to be big watch parties in my town down at the Plaza

And then every time I watch them ski, I think about the fact that it's all man made snow and they've just wasted gallons and gallons, millions of gallons of water just to get that done. And it's like, man, it's tough to watch. It just really is. It just feels like it was really forced upon us. And it's just a difficult Olympics to watch. I think for that, for all those reasons above

@mitchyro99 Where are the human interest stories??

And that human interest story made it much more interesting to watch the competition win or lose. I see that as pretty much completely missing at this point in the Olympics. I haven't really seen that. I think without that you're just watching coats flying down. You can't even see their faces. In some cases where you just see Goggles helmet and coats, you just have no idea who these people really are

I feel like I'm watching a big noon football game on Fox, honestly, where there are so many commercials and you don't get the connection with the team, the country, the players, the athletes don't know who that the blame is for, but it just makes these Olympics way less interesting, and I probably won't tune in much anymore anyways
