RAIN meditation for tough times

The next step then is investigate, which we want to do super gently, and that's investigate. Why is this all happening? What is the root cause of all this? What did the other person say? And then more importantly, what am I saying to myself about what happened that's making this situation, this feeling even more uncomfortable or more painful? And to write those things down, maybe after the meditation, but be super gentle and not at all judgmental about them

Hey, Rob, I love this meditation. I've heard it before. I like how you approach it. I like your explanation, and I just appreciate that you're giving us this chance to make it our own. I think that a lot of these structures need to they're like scaffolding, but we need to be the bones and the guts of it

You. Thank you so much for your reply. I'm really grateful for that. And you bring up a great point about the practice of mindfulness, which I appreciate, that you've kind of illuminated here, is that while mindfulness does have a scaffolding to it and there are some really broad brushstrokes of how practices can work. The gift one of the gifts of mindfulness is the ability to personalize it and probably even the encouragement to personalize it
