You. Hey, everybody. How's it going out there? My question for you today is, are you in a job search right now? And if so, what's going well, and what's frustrating the heck out of you? I'm sure there's a lot. As a career coach, I help people manage their careers, and I am looking for ways that we can help each other out in this process. So I'd love to hear your feedback

That's been the most helpful in any kind of situation that I was trying to either get work or get work done. That's just been the best. But I would love to hear from other people as well about like I mean, I cringe so hard at the word network because it feels it cheapens the actual, I don't know, connections that you make with people. But I'd love to hear more about people's techniques to reach out to people
You. Hi. Thanks for your response. And you're absolutely right. Historically, the word networking is more about a transaction of exchanging like business cards, for example. But making an actual connection is an investment in the relationship. So I agree the word networking feels a little lucky. Anyway, other suggestions I would have is understanding where creatives might hang out in terms of social platforms, engaging on those platforms, either with them through their posts or creating posts that would entice them to engage with you

So, like I say, I am a recent graduate, 20, class of 2023. I have my bachelor's degree in healthcare management, a certified phlebotomist, a certified medical assistant, and yet I cannot find that job. And I think it's really frustrating. But I think also that the way, I don't know so many people going after one job, you know, so much competition is the way they filter the resumes
