The current President is looking to improve his relations with everyone around him, which is a good sign. Uzbekistan is the only Central Asian neighbor to connect with all the others to the point where when you travel in that region, if you want to go from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, you go through Uzbekistan. If you want to go to Tajikistan to Kazakhstan, you go through Uzbekistan. Everyone goes through Uzbekistan.
