Big 4

So tonight on Metallica Monday, they are showing their performance from the Big Four concert at Yankee Stadium on September 14, 2011. I was at this show, so I'm Super excited, edited to relive it via Metallicast Monday, but it got me thinking, curious who out there also attended a Big Four show, either this one or on the few other ones that happened before. And also curious, what is your favorite Big Four band?

Okay. Out of the big four. Easy answer, Slayer. I've seen them all. And in I think it was 90 91, something like that. The Clash of the Titans tour came to Philadelphia Elfia. The cool thing about that tour was Alison Chains opened right. And Facelift had been released. But Man in the Box had not been a hit yet, right? So nobody knew about it except me because I used to read Rip magazine, which I don't know if you know about

They definitely lost me a little bit with some of theirs or 90 stuff, and some of their more recent stuff is a little bit generic, I think, but it's hard to argue with those classic albums

Anthrax is an East Coast being, too being from New York. I grew up in New Jersey. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I like what they got going on over the other bands. I think their catalog is stronger than Megadeth, and they've done a lot of different things over the years. Unlike Slayer, who like was stated earlier, have done pretty much the same thing over now

Ralph, I 100% agree with you. And I remember seeing the Bitcoin in the movie theaters as well. And it was awesome. It was loud where I was, too. And there's a moth pit that broke up. People were treating it like it was a real concert. It was a real, really good time
