But once we watched their set, I knew every single song, and they were polished and tight and energetic. And I saw them a couple more times over the years. But once I was in my twenties, that's when I actually took time to sit down and listen to their discography. When I Got to Bleed American, that album is just phenomenal. It opens up with three bombastic hits. It has another hit like Dead Center in the album, but the whole thing is just cohesive

I love listening to this so much because Jimmy Eat World is probably still one of my favorite bands. It's definitely a band that I would have thought by now I would have grown out of, but I still they'll probably listen to them at least a couple times a year. I have such a vivid memory. It was sometime in the summer of 8th grade and I was up late watching one of the late night shows. I can't remember which one it was now

You guys are going to make me talk once again about LCD sound system. Yes, I know I've talked about with them before, but I really liked them, and I didn't know about them. See, I'm normally a metalhead, and so I spend a lot of time listening to metal. And I went to the Shaky Knees Festival in 2017 here in Atlanta, and it's a three day show over Memorial Day weekend, usually. But it didn't happen this year

And they were opening for Cloak, which had an album out already for a while. And we're pretty well known here in this region anyway, and everyone came to see Cloak, but Rotting Kingdom came on, and just this wall of doom noise metal just completely obliterated the crowd. And it was amazing. It was fantastic. I'll put a link to their self titled EP, which only has three songs on it
