I was kind of giggling with my partner because I was explaining to him that I became skeptical over the years of is this Sedona energy vortex thing even real? Is it just this placebo effect? Because so many people talk about it and I was like, you know what, I'm just going to go in with a beginner's mind

I did not make it to Sedona on this trip, but I toured Colorado in my van for the full month of August and then reported for duty to work some hiking and yoga retreats around Zion. And then I just arrived home just a couple of days ago and had a relaxing weekend with my partner at home. It's been lovely. Anyway, I just am kind of reconnecting and looking at what seeds I want to plant. Of course, even though it's fall, it's more about harvesting

I love it. I love it. I actually live like 25 minutes from Zion. I'm curious, was it your retreat? Were you on someone else's? Where was it? That I know there's been a lot happening at what is it called? Under canvas. But there are so many spots. Yeah, excited to hear. But anyhow, I'm not sure if we talked about this yet. And nature just has these lessons in so many places, and this story is one that I will reflect on and probably reference time and time again when I'm having those little girl power chats with my BFFs. Oh, gosh, thank you so much for sharing. It really was wonderful. Now, we don't have any cactus here in Vermont, but we do have these plants, which I pictured in my response, which we refer to as burdocks
