It's dull, it's dreary and especially over here in the UK. We've been locked down. It's hard already, man. We were like, we're being already beaten up bad. So we need to get off the ropes and do something positive. And I'm hoping that you guys will come in here, keep me motivated. I will help keep you motivated. And, like, Rocky Fit, man, let's go for it

So I'm kind of checking in midweek here and that's my goal also, you know, to increase my fitness level, I'm going to write my own plan out and start with my own twelve week plan. I've got 15 weeks. So that should give me a little bit of leeway. So I hope to hear from you guys. All of you guys who joined last time will join again

Because I would really like to check that out and I think that could be helpful and kind of motivating me to prioritize different kinds of exercise, even though it's really cold and Gray here, like you said. And I think part of me feeling unmotivated is like, yeah, I can't go to the gym. Being outside is really not the best right now. And so I just keep doing these walks, but I really want to get back into doing more cardio. So okay, thanks

So other Β£7 that I lost in that challenge. In the initial weeks, I gained four of it back in the final weeks. So I'm only three down right now. So I'm starting at that point. And I'm all in no festivals that I can think of in this quarter. It should be a good quarter, but I'm going to be reasonable here. So I'm going to say Β£6 because this time I'm going to overshoot the goal. All right

Have you done any boxing before? Let me know. You can message back and forth here. Apart from your birthday, there's a few people I know they've got birthdays and stuff like that, but we're all in lockdown now anyway, so who knows? We won't be celebrating much. So that's a good one. Β£6. 50,000 steps. I like it. So we'll check in again once a week. I'll probably pop in and out. Actually, I do something, you know. Of course I use other tips podcast and I use Swell to deliver it

I've gone up Β£3 but also this is after having drank a lot of water this morning and eating breakfast and coffee because I forgot to weigh myself when I first woke up and I know I'm retaining a lot of water at the moment, so not too worried about that and I am really reducing my sugar and caffeine intake so I can do all of February as no sugar, no caffeine and just a really good plant based diet

Now there is some health benefits to be had from being fit and it's correlated to body mass index. But frankly, you can have a high BMI if you have a lot of muscle because muscle weighs more than fat. I don't worry about my BMI. I know what the mirror tells me and it's saying good things every day. But then again, I'm delusional because you got to be Lord knows all you men are delusional

So I haven't been out because it snowed yesterday, but doing the things that I could do to make myself feel on track and put myself in a real positive state. So like I said, my food hasn't been bad but I just haven't been 100% all in mentally as yet, but we're early in other year, right? So let's see what happens. How are you guys? How are you guys doing

The reason I put that up as well is because it's good to have a goal or something to measure. Because then you know you're there when I'm training somebody, it's all about measuring something. So I know that I'm improving their fitness. Whether it's a resting heart rate or how fast they can run a certain distance. All that kind of stuff, less fat around the waist, that kind of thing. That all adds to good health

Hey, Mark, thank you for this. Yeah, I really, really I am on the East Coast in the States, and it's been very gloomy and Gray here, so I just am more tired than usual, also still dealing with some of that physical pain stuff, so not quite as agile and moving quite as much as I would like, but I'm still trying to do at least one long walk a day as far as my check in

Gaining weight is good, but maintaining is okay. And then we can start to move things forward. Maybe if the weather gets a little bit better when we get out of lockdown or whatever happens, let's see. Yeah. Do what you can do. Stay positive, guys. Stay positive. Stay focused, drink a lot of water and let's do one thing at a time. Maybe get better sleep if we're all tired. I had a better night's sleep last night

Alright. So I'm going to put the link to my breakfast menu here because I couldn't fit it up there. And like I said, it would be cool to know what you guys think it'll give you a little bit, you know, some more ideas. And breakfast is always the meal I start with when I'm looking at helping people with their diet. So yeah, it would be great to see you guys cooking my breakfast from the other side of the world

Like the thing I'm dealing with my back and sleep is so important and I know one of the best experiences I had in getting more in shape and also losing some weight was when I was being really adamant about a sleep schedule and was just drinking so much water and so it's just really good reminders to me

But I'm taking some cautions and it's kind of like it's given me the motivation to do what I need to do. So I'm kind of following some guidelines, which is definitely helping me lose weight, get down to that goal weight. But those guidelines are completely cutting out any added sugar. That means I used to have a coffee with sugar, maybe once or twice a day. So I'm cutting that out and any kind of processed food with sugar in it

Alright, so in. In summary, there's a couple of things I forgot to mention. I'm having no dairy at all, no dairy for eight weeks, so no milk, cheese or butter. I'm having no alcohol, but that's not an issue because I'm only drinking on the cake occasions anyway. So no alcohol. I'm also having quite a very low carb, having a lot of vegetables and good proteins, no red meat for eight weeks

But I'm feeling a lot better now and I was able to get a couple of runs in and I'm doing a lot of walking when I can, despite it being really wintry and cold where I am, which is making me feel good

We've just had a really cold spell in London, and boy, I was eating well, but I felt like having hearty food, so there was more carbs involved rather than it was good carbs, but it just wasn't vegetables where I have fish ready to Bake. And I didn't want that for lunch. I wanted something more and that was interesting. And then we were having more calm dinners as well. So my weight is around the same
