Poll time: Enjoy or capture a moment?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Manalika
When you grow up, when your friends from College or schools are in a different place, they have the separate families and then you suddenly just crawl through your Gallery and you see those amazing days you spend with your friends, you will definitely feel nostalgic and happy emotions will come down your way, right? So it's a good thing to capture a particular thing but that definitely doesn't mean that you are not enjoying that moment at the present

So, hey, Manalika, I didn't even have to listen to the entire swell because I knew my answer would be enjoying the moment. I'm often like that only when any setting, whether you travel somewhere or having a great time with friends of family, I'm often lost in the moment and I never remember to take photos. And then I always regret later. So obviously, taking photos is good, but keeping it minimal is my suggestion or my thing. So, yeah

Hi. Thank you so much for sharing your opinion. Even like, I wanted, you know, different people to talk about this question and share the different perspectives regarding it. And I'm so glad that you shared one of your reasons why you like to, you know, just live that moment. Thank you so much. Bye

And if you have a picture regarding some moment that only glorifies the moment of that particular instance and I'm in the blending sort of answer, but I would for sure say that 80 90% you should enjoy and being in that moment and 10% or 15% you should be able to capture it as well for the date or time and for your friends and afterwards. And that's it for me. And thank you for this one

If you're taking a picture, at least you have to live that situation or that particular circumstances for at least 40%. Right. And I do know that it's going to be hard because we all are kind of inclined towards flitting pictures and we all are focused towards our social media handles and stuff like that

Hi Manalika, if I talk about myself then I always capture the moment. But as doing mature, I believe in enjoying the moment. As you mentioned about the cafe. But I think that not talking to each other and just capturing the moment is nothing but a show because there are some movements. If they are special, you don't have to capture them. But at last you mentioned bland. That also is a good option. Thank you

So even if I don't participate in the conversation, I like listening. So I like socializing in my own way which might not be acceptable to others. But what I feel is that yes, capturing is important because on looking back when we see those pictures, it helps us relieve those memories and makes us feel happy. But everything should not be kept for memory, right? We also should enjoy our presence

Hi, I'm an Manalika. I hope you are doing great and this topic is pretty cool to talk about and I would love to answer this. What do you ask for masks. For me, taking pictures is really important. Like for like if I'm going out with my friends now, what I do, I click the picture of things. I click the pictures and send this to my brother and it makes me feel like he's with me always and all

If you never felt it genuinely within your heart with the person, or even if you're alone, what's the use if you do not feel that moment entirely 100% that's it uses it's like you're living an empty life. You're not really living it, you're just trying to fake it so that's that. Thank you so much for sharing on this topic

Hey Manalika, I hope you are doing great and also this is a very interesting topic to, you know, take a pause and think about and while you can enjoy the moment in taking the photos, I believe just imagine how lively you will feel when you go through your old memories captured in photos. It is a kind of revisit to the entire scene and in no way it is universal. Do what your heart sees to my heart sees to capture the moment

According to me I do enjoy the moment rather than capturing it. If I have lots of time and enjoy curly then I will be capturing because captive they can be misdoubted you know, but in the join stays forever in your memory. So Yeah

I would like to say that enjoying the moment is really more of a priority than capturing that. Of course, sometime in the moment goes by, you really think about it and think that maybe if I click the picture, I would have something to remember it or some Memorial kind of thing. If you just keep on clicking pictures and stuff like that and don't get yourself to enjoy the moment, it really becomes really bad. So I would rather prefer to enjoy than click pictures

Hi everyone, I personally like to living in the moment rather than just clicking the pictures or we really are in this generation that people are more into the pictures, they just like please click my picture like this post dispose but we should live in the moment. And also I don't say that clicking pictures is bad. You can't click or you should only live in the moment. No you should click pictures but just enjoy the movement in the live
@Manalika

But on the other hand, I do think that taking some pictures would be nice because you can remember about it after you get out of that particular phase. Right? Yeah
@Manalika

@Manalika · 0:41
Exactly. And you know what? I am just like you. Whenever I go to a particular place, I just click the pictures first because I need time after that to interact with my friends. Yeah, there may be some times when we, you know, get something that is very important to take a picture of of. So we will just take out a phone
@Manalika
Manalika Das
@Manalika · 0:33
But now that you've said it, I think I should start just sending pictures whenever I reach a particular place. That's going to be such a cute way to share memories and stuff like that. So I thank you for sharing your opinion

And you'll realize that the way they are showing themselves is not the person they actually are. Right. So it's a very dicey situation. Everybody tries to fake over social media. And this is the reason why we took so many pictures, to show off, to show other people that yeah, we are living our life. We are enjoying it. And I won't deny the fact that when I do that, whenever I go to a place, I'm excited to go to the place

@Shruti_Singh

And right now I have an iPhone and we all know the stupid storage system of iPhone, so I really don't have storage at all. So right now, I have just become very precautious while clicking pictures. So that's something that has been beneficial for me. So I know that okay, I'm going to a particular event, I cannot take more than ten pictures or my iPhone storage would be full

Yes. Thank you so much for sharing her opinion. And absolutely right. Not only click pictures, get yourself clicked as well. According to me with you. And I just start taking pictures without even realizing that I am not in those videos. I am not in those pictures. Right. So it's better to just take a few pictures yourself and get yourself a few pictures clicked. And after that, just keep your phone aside and enjoy the moments. And

Yes, you are right. Sometimes we get indulged into clicking so many pictures that we don't realize that we are not living that moment. So what's the purpose of taking pictures if we would not be able to be nostalgic about it in the future, right? So you are completely correct in your opinion, that we have to focus more on enjoying that moment rather than capturing it

Exactly. I do it. But Mira Sik. If I go to a place, but I have seen people Joe like sauce of which is layering. We are there to enjoy a particular moment. Enjoy a particular place and you keep on rolling. Winning it by taking pictures. Every Das right personality plus your moment have a spoiler. So it's better to enjoy that moment rather than just continuously clicking pictures

I'm making a collage or mesh up kind of thing with the voice over it just to make a video, to remind me of my good old days, good old school days, as I'm going to give my board examination, then I will be leaving my old school. So just to capture the moment. And that's what I would say

Hello Manalika, I completely agree with you that we should enjoy the moment and also capture it. Since now we are having an opportunity to take a record of that moment, then why not? Why not take a picture and make a memory? Still? Besides taking pictures, living up to the moment is so much important that's the only reason we go out for some change

Hi. Thank you so much for this advice. Yeah. Your advice is also really great that we should first enjoy a moment and in the end, we can click the pictures. Personally, I would take pictures first because you understand that we cannot breathe. And then I do my makeup and stuff like that. So I feel that let me just take my picture first. Let me just get that perfect picture

Yes, you're absolutely right. I mean, in the past, people really wanted to capture a particular movement so that they could relive this moment when they look back at it, but didn't have a particular medium. But at this point of time, in our generation, we have cell phones, we have camera, and we have different devices to capture a moment. So why not use it? Right

So I live it first through my eyes and then I want to capture it. But sometimes I feel like capturing every moment is not important. So once would always live the moment. And when you've lived it enough, maybe catching it

Hi. Yeah, that's a great way of enjoying a particular moment. You can first experience it and then you can click some good pictures and then relive those moment in the future. Right. That I only just click pictures, but I don't even remember what I did in that particular moment. I just know I clicked in this picture. So that shouldn't be the case. Right. Hi Manalika. I also believe in the blend of both enjoying and capturing the moment, but devoting yourself totally into capturing is not healthy, I think. And in today's generation, I see mostly people flicking the pictures of food and everything, and this is not my type and this is not my thing. And to be honest. But, yeah, I do capture some beautiful moment to hold on to them and to enjoy the moment in the future as well. So. Yeah
