Don’t undermine someone’s problem

article image placeholderUploaded by @Manalika
They think that while describing their own problems, they will be able to make the other person feel better. But that's not the case. That person came to you because he or she wanted to talk to you. They wanted to talk about their problems. They just wanted to share about whatever is going on in their life. They just wanted ears. They just wanted you to listen to them. Nothing more than that. Maybe listen and maybe provide some suggestions if you have a good one

Hey, Manalika, I completely agree with you that we always pretend to have bigger problems than somebody else is having, no matter how big or small it is. But I think we should try to understand them and can motivate them to get out of it. So yeah, great. Swell

You are so true. This is such a problem, and people don't talk enough about it. It's as if people are trying to have a competition on whose life is worse. Like, this is not a competition. You both need help. You both are are at low points of your life, and you both need to help each other not to undermine the illnesses problem. And I get so frustrated when this happens
