Part 1: The male gaze and its impact in a woman’s life

article image placeholderUploaded by @Manalika
I'm talking about those men who think that we are kind of the property and they have the right to stare at us as if we are a piece of meat. They don't understand that we feel so uncomfortable and we have to just think twice or twice before stepping out. And some people would say that this is because the lack of education and this thing only happens in village area or those areas where there are no sort of educational institutions or kind of internet where people aren't aware of the situations

It will be awkward for me to just exist there. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. And like you said, I even tried to steer him back so that he stopped doing whatever he was doing. And out of all the bad decisions that I made that day, it was the worst. Because the moment I made eye contact, I teared up. And I agree. This happens to a lot of people and a lot of people

Me, Manalika, I really appreciate about this topic, what you said. I really quoted like what you're trying to tell. I do face such issues and it seriously doesn't matter. You are in village, you are in Porch area. The men will be men. You know what I'm trying to say here? And yeah, the uniform people won't let you just go free, even when you're wearing school uniform. I really find myself ugly in school uniform

So hey, Manalika a very important topic if addressed here. And this is such an important and such a prevalent issue in India. And I think in the entire world old. And it's really sad. I'm someone who wears a hijab when I go outside. And although I don't have many experiences as you with this issue, but I also had a few minor experiences in this regard. And honestly, it's so disturbing when you think about it
