BEST third films in a trilogy

article image placeholderUploaded by @MalcolmG
And especially like, compared to the first two in that trilogy. I got to say that it might take the cake. But for best third films, I think I'd give it to Thor Ragnarok

You forgot the best one

There's one movie that I think you definitely forgot about let me give you a hint? I love Gold. Austin Powers Gold member

Oh, such good calls here, especially the Gold Member shot. I love that movie. I think that the obvious tick here would be returning to King. I mean, it's like one of the most winningest films in history. On a personal note, I would definitely put Toy Story Three in there. I absolutely love that movie. I did not think the fourth was very good. I think they probably just should have left things as they were with the third

🎥. 😹

Okay. I love Thor Ragnarok. I think it is my favorite of the Marvel movies. That being said, it's not going to be a trilogy much longer. They have rap production on Thor, Love and and Thunder. So what do you do when the trilogy has expanded, right? It happened to Indiana Jones, it happened to Scream, happened to Night of the Living Dead. And we're only three of those Pirates of the Caribbean. The franchises just keep going

Rocky III

And I thought the character of Clover Lang, played by Mr. T. Was just absolutely fantastic. Fantastic. And that was my favorite movie of the Rocky series. I don't think that's a very popular opinion. I think most people will tell you one. A lot of people will say four. But for me, it was number three

And it really sort of says to me that The Age of Trilogies might just be completely dead or on their way out. I mean, we're really seeing a lack of creativity from some parts of Hollywood. I certainly won't say all because I've seen some really awesome movies lately. But when you are running low on options, when you need something to do, keeping a franchise going seems to be what a lot of these companies are choosing to do

Honestly, as far as Trilogies go, I don't like, like, a lot of trilogies. I don't stay fully invested for an entire trilogy, and it's kind of a downfall for me, I guess, because I know there's a lot of good ones out there, but obviously, obviously the true Return of the Jedi, the original Star Wars. That's definitely got to be like number one or close to it

I would say Iron Man Three, but yeah, Thoragnadok is just the next level. True. That's true. I love it so much. But also, Iron Man Three was good. And I would say The Matrix loaded. It was a fun, fine
