Eric Smith’s release from prison

article image placeholderUploaded by @Maggiel6
In 1993, when Eric was only 13 years old, he lured a four year old boy to the woods, where he beat him to death with a rock and then sexually assaulted him with a stick. He confessed to this gruesome murder. A week later, the crime rocked their small town in Steuben County, New York, and now people are shocked that he will be reentering society. His original release date was postponed because he did not have a place to live yet, which is required for parole

So this is an interesting, interesting case. Thank you for bringing it up, because I had no idea that this had happened. But you bring up a good a good point of like, you know, he committed this act when he was 13. Is it bad enough that he he should deserve a life sentence? And honestly, I think so. When you're 13, you're young, but you're still aware of what you're doing
