Mindful Caregiving

article image placeholderUploaded by @LynnAJ
In early 2011, our family had a shock because there was no indication or reason that it should happen. We were very naive to think. But my mom got diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage three C, and it was a doozy. The diagnosis was pretty serious. She was 74 years old at the time. At her very first chemo appointment, we had her blood drawn for genetic testing

@LynnAJ thank you so much

We could do an interview, or you could do an audio reading of it if you go to My Swellcast. I've pinned a book that I read in its entirety on My Swell cast. I wrote it with the therapist about grief, and I keep it pinned because I think it's such a unique way to use well. So thank you so much for being here and inviting others to talk about this and saying how much you're there for them

But it has been on my mind about making sure I'm thinking about, of course, my grandma and how she's doing. But also I've been thinking a lot about my mom, my dad, and specifically my mom and really wanting to be able to support her in any way I can and making sure that she's taking care of herself. And I am definitely going to check out that website that you recommended for updates. That is just so brilliant, such a great idea and so helpful
