Status Quo,…which one do you reject? Let’s talk.

But at the same time, that means that we should pretend to be devoid of human expressions at its height, right? And so whether it's that or whether it's something else, I would love to hear from you all about which status quo singular or which status quo you reject. I just utterly and completely reject the idea I like to have. I'm a bourbon and whiskey guy

I’m often oblivious to the "Status Quo."

It's not something I intuitively and instinctually know which gets me into a lot of trouble because I can often talk about topics that aren't of the status quo. They are not things that people consider or think about and therefore they don't really engage with it because it's not what else is out there. I'm not talking about extensively of Row versus Wade or the Highland Park shootings

I was like, Man, I can't wait to hear his response and yours within an oblivious sort of disposition to status quo or the various status quo I can relate to so much because there are things that I just don't care for. News and things like that. Sort of a pet peeve of mine. I don't like discussing popular news. I mean, I know it's one thing to be informed, it's quite a different thing to be obsessed

I see them as a fellow person, a fellow human, that we have different knowledge buckets and different life experiences, different perspectives, different wiring, et cetera. And us coming together is a collaborative thing. It's not them over me or me over them. It's let's bring our skills and strengths to the table, along with the areas that we are weaker in and collaborate, find greater understanding, make a way forward that reaches the desired goals

@SeekingPlumb: Equity, a theme.

And that is, in many ways, how status quo, as I understand it, functions in society that we are told that another person will make us whole. We are told that there is one person for you when mathematically, we know that that's not true, but it's reinforced over and over again in society. And so then it becomes this sort of staple, or in this case, status quo, that people abide by do not question or challenge

Thank you for your feedback. I really needed that today. I really love that you picked out this recurring theme because on the one hand, you know, when you speak about something openly and someone receives it, gets it, it's like that's excellent. Right, that's great. But when you aren't directly speaking about it in some instances and it's still picked up, I don't know, it's sort of something magical there
