Bonding Over Food
Certain things kind of bugged me a little bit, but hey, I'm not the one dating her, so I'm just there to support. But it was a great time to meet people. And there was her God brother that was there and he came over and introduced himself and started talking. It wasn't like when you're first meeting the potential future in laws or family, you kind of like, don't know what to expect. And we were all there

And it's mostly been from her perspective that I don't like him. And I've said to her a number of times, I've never emphatically said that I do not like him. What you are looking for me to do is to have the relationship with him that you have with him. But I have not had the time with him that you have had with him. And you keep bringing up how his children welcome you and they call you and so on and so forth

I know I need to pray about it, and I know I need to process through it. I'm going to definitely need to process through that, for sure. Matter of fact, I might have to reach out to one of my friends who is a counselor because I really want to make sure I'm on my best behavior at this Thanksgiving. I really need to make sure

The mother kind of, like, had this unique way of talking, and I'm like, Hold up, and my antenna went up. But I'm like, okay, I'm just going to play nice and let him know. I'm going to let her know at the next gathering that we have. I don't play that. Don't talk to him like he's your kid. He's been a grown man with a whole mama. But anyway, it's interesting

Hey, I get it, trust me. I've come up with an exit plan. My mom text and she was like, yeah, dinner starts at one because I asked her for the address in the start time. And so she said, dinner, our Thanksgiving dinner starts at one and we're going to play some games first. And if you guys can get there early, like 1130 12:00, so you can play the games
