Hi everyone. This is actually my first share on swell and I'm really excited and have been loving listening to everyone's poems. This one is called Drunk with a Notebook. Have you ever looked at the stars believing they were shining only for you? Listened to the secrets the wind blows through the trees telling you of the possibilities to come? Ever see the colors of a rainbow stealing across the sky after a chilling storm? Or experience the beauty of running through a field of wildflowers?

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your response to this one. You are an absolutely amazing poet and I really, really appreciate any feedback and words. I am so excited to see you here and to actually hear some of your poetry. Just so welcome to the app. I just can't wait for more. I love this piece. I love that there's so much magic in it. So much magic that we often overlook in all the little things. And yes, I totally agree. Poetry is definitely magic. I just can't wait to see more from you
And I think as word artists, we have such a beautiful connection to nature and everything that exists. And to be able to be gifted, to speak about things in a way that opens up new and more interesting understanding, wow. It's just such an amazing blessing. So I love being a poet. I am so grateful to be a writer and a poet, and you just really made me think even more deeply about that. And then I just love the title. I just love it
