Strive for Progress, not perfection. II Do you believe in perfection?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LoveLiveLearn
Hi, and welcome back to love, live, learn. We all yearn to learn, improve and grow constantly in life. Therefore, progress should be the progress, not perfection. II perfection really limits a person and doesn't allow one to accomplish beyond a certain point. Perfection in the human context truly is a myth. We can never attain perfection because its very definition keeps changing. What perfection means to me may be completely different from what it means to another human being

Hi. I think this is a really interesting question and even though I will be saying that I believe in progress more than perfection, I focus on progress more than perfection. But then also I know that a part of me has held me back from committing to a lot of things, something that maybe I have always wanted to try out, a hobby or a goal I have wanted to achieve

It. Thank you, love, live, Learn for this wonderful thought. And yeah, this question is too important to be discussed. And I would like to be thankful to Aishani who have invited me on this beautiful swell. So, as you have questioned, like whether we should be perfection oriented or a progress oriented so I believe in progress too, instead of perfection. Because I believe to be perfectly imperfect means don't strive to be perfect. Just give it 100% like a mosaic art

Hello everyone. I'm Kadam Ri Gupta. Ma'am, I think you have said it very rightly that perfection is something which you know differs from person to person. Like for me, perfection may be sitting at home and having coffee. For someone, perfection will be going out in the mall or to the to a coffee shop and then have coffee. It's not wrong that whether for me perfection is sitting at home, chilling with family and have my favorite cold coffee

@Aishani Humanly perfection is a myth.

There was actually a study done, pretty recent one, owing to these dei initiatives, where it is said that men are able to apply for a post even if their resume and their experience and their fitment is up to 50 60%, they are very comfortable going ahead and applying for that particular role. But women are not confident or courageous enough to go ahead and apply for a post unless they are 100% sure and there is 100% fitment

So that is so true that perfection is truly a myth and only by picking up small imperfections is when we can come together. And that, I think, is a larger element of inclusion as well. The more I know that every small imperfection can be perfect in some other way is when I will begin including people perspectives, thoughts, ideas, right. It is less about how how knowledgeable, how effective and how perfect I am

@kadambarigupta

Hello. Kadam Brigi. This is such a beautiful perspective. Thank you so much for sharing this. Indeed, perfection is to each their own, right? We make our own choices. We make our own spaces. We make our own definitions of happiness, joy, goal, success, perfection. Everything is different for everybody because we may be altogether. We are all on a different journey
