Asana

Asana. Feminism is a scam, she says from her privileged podium. A luxury not afforded to most, this pretending there is no war on body autonomy. Or perhaps it's simpler make an agreement with the agendas. Sign your ancient wisdom. Away in crimson inc let others have their way with your pay make your womb space a public place sister, I will always respect your personhood tonight will you come lay differences down sit under the moon with me listen to her cry

I've been practicing a practitioner of yoga for probably 20 years, and that practice has waned in the last five years due to neurological issues and surgery and the like. And it's something I'm going to return to now that I'm more intentional about movement. I'm thinking of starting with just going back to doing my Syrian mascara A and B in the mornings. Anyway, this piqued my curiosity because of the title of the poem, and it's a lovely unfolding

Yes, we can pick it. I don't know if I'll be able to get into all the layers in one reply, but I guess I can start with overall, I have very strong feelings and values around body autonomy and human rights. And I also want to be a space and a loving place for all of humanity. That, to me, is at the heart of yoga

I loved this piece. It's such a sweet invitation to understand and connect and accept. And I love that sentiment. To embrace sisterhood. And no matter what your opinion are or your belief systems are, you can appreciate and still believe in the ideal of feminine sisters who understand you because they are you. And to be able to embrace the love that you all share as women, and the ability to go beyond and be more that we all have as women

Hi, Don. Maria, thank you so much for your feedback and for listening. Yeah, I've been as I get older, I'm so hyper aware of how women have been taught that we can't be for ourselves and for each other. You know, there's so much cultural unraveling to do there. And for me, it kind of begins and ends with, like you said, remembering that that person is also you. I love that. So thank you so much
