What song makes you really freakin happy? All genres welcome!

You. Hi. Swell family. My daughter and I are getting ready to take a road trip, and we have started a playlist. We're asking anyone, friends, family, strangers what song makes you really freaking happy? And if you'd like to share why, I'd love to hear it. Thanks

Charlie Daniels band when Delaware went down to Georgia What People don't kind of want except that it's one of the original rap songs that came out two months before. Rappers delight to mainstream. Billy Paul, me and Mrs. Jones. That's a good one to sing along to and probably crack up. I got to have arctic Monkeys, are you Mike? With a little help from my friends from Joe Cocker, that's for sure. Stepping wolf Magic Carpet Ride. Steve Miller Band. The Joker

It's. All right, well, I think I'm going to jump on this bandwagon here and just start giving you a list of songs. Mind you, I'm in my forty s and so a lot of my songs that I like were from the 90s, but I also dig down into the 70s as well. So my first songs that I would recommend for you are from a band called Jimmy Eat World. And I would recommend three songs

But I thought I would try and recommend five songs and not get too crazy with the list. The first one I thought would be really fun for a road trip. And I can imagine you and your daughter dancing and popping along in the car, singing to the song. It's will. Smith's getting jiggy with it. It's just a fun song. The next two recommendations are by a band that's a favorite band of mine

You're. Thank you so much. This is such a fun list. I might just have to have a whole separate playlist for Scribe sevens recommendations. It's so great, so diverse, and I love a lot of these songs. So I really appreciate your suggestions. They will be added. Thank you

Hi Ren, I'm so glad you responded and I am loving your suggestions. I'm familiar with most of these songs very much love you and Me. And yes, I think my kiddo and I will have some fun dancing to some Will Smith. And I've always loved the Sundays as well, but I have not heard she, so I look forward to listening to that. Thank you so much for sharing and I appreciate your story around it as well. Have a good one

You. This is Katharine. And I'm so envious of you heading out on a road trip. It's been a while since I've done that. For me, I think, at the moment, the two great road trip songs have to be respect by the fabulous Aretha Franklin and maybe the Grateful Deads Ripple. They're really different, but they're both really terrific to drive to. Have a wonderful time

After I come out of, like, a breakup or something, it's like I'm going to live my life like it's golden. I am going to fulfill my dreams. I'm going to reach my goals, and I'm going to live free. I'm not going to be bound by people's opinions. I'm not going to be bound by people's ideas. I'm not going to be bound by stereotypes or anything else. I'm going to live my life free

You so many great suggestions from people replying to you. So I'm only going to add one song. There are so many that make me happy, but the one that came to mind I'm going to add because nobody's been mentioning bluegrass songs and hey, mandolin and banjo make me happy. But actually the song I'm Living Leaving You is a cover by an indie pop band. The indie pop band just happens to be all acoustic and include a banjo and mandolin and bass

Sweet city woman =)

I'm going to say the first one that came to my mind, and that is Sweet City Woman by the Stampeders. There's something about that song. It's uplifting hey, and it has a banjo in it as well, so it's always good. Have fun on your road trip

And again, Mike, the Sundays, they're kind of a short lived band. Only put out three albums. And believe it or not, I actually met and talked with the mandolin player and banjo player. One time I was with a friend and the two of them were there at this little outdoor concession stand. We were waiting in line to get beers. It was at the Kerville Folk Festival. Yeah

Hey. Yeah, you know, I was in college in the loved here's where the story ends. And then I think it was a later album that Wild Horses came out, but I haven't listened to much more of their music. But thank you for reintroducing me to them because I'm going to get into it a little bit more and discover some more. And I love thank you so much for your responses. I love when true musicians share their knowledge with me and with all of us
