Teens interacting with nature in the times of zoom

Another thing that I have been seriously contemplating during these times of COVID is that most of my working times I have spent reintroducing children young kids into nature and taking them out into nature. But I have realized now that Zoom has basically taken over the landscape, especially for our teens more than ever. It's time for us to now bring the teams back into the natural landscape. So my focus is going to be that anybody any ideas?

A nature scavenger hunt.

Some sort of Hunt there where it's a Photo Hunt where they're out there looking. But they're not looking at their phone. They're just using that to take pictures. And then they're using their eyes to really observe nature. Something like that, I think would be fun and get them out into nature and get active. Having been on a number of trails recently, I will tell you, bug spray, make sure there is some sort of bug spray. They are awful this year

1. Books & a picnic 2. Learn about & care for fish. 3. Nature journals!

We set up a picnic date and we went out to a local hiking trail. We brought some stacks, sandwiches, juice pouches, a blanket, all that kind of stuff. But we also brought books. So we found like a cute little place to sit on the edge of the trail, and we sat down and talked. We caught up and we were going to read, but we ended up talking the whole time. But again, that's something you could do. Still had a great point

Things to do with Teens

And also another thing that I'm going to do is I ordered some of that sun photography paper that you put images on. And the sun basically exposes the image. So you're taking a picture with a photosensitive paper. But the sun is the camera. And that could be something really cool to use, basically in leaf identification. And then you could on the other page, do as you suggested a drawing. So I'm really inspired hired. Thank you so much

Hey, it's David and I just had an idea based on your post about getting your teens out into nature. I have an idea, which is why don't you find a local paddle tennis court and take them out? There a little game of tennis. It's literally a little game, but it makes kids and teens especially feel like they can do anything. So Google it paddle tennis. See if there's one near you because that will get them and get them happy. Alright

As a teen myself, I got and I'm doing online right now. And I'm Super bored of, like, just being at home all the time. And so me and my sister were like, June's on the side. And we went outside. And then we started playing cats. So maybe this happens and then play catch. I think that'd be very fun. I think it's fun. Just be like, hey, you want to go play cats? Yeah
