The Age of Accountability

article image placeholderUploaded by @Listen2AuntieL
But I've told my sister many times that as a woman and a mother, you have already surpassed the maturity of our mother. You've outgrown her in a lot of ways. And so the way that you deal with her and talk to her, you cannot expect certain things because she's just not there. And so there are a lot of people in my life that I realize it doesn't matter what age they are, they can be 50, 60, 70 years old

And I have also chosen a more spiritual self discovery path, and it's okay that others aren't on that path in learning to accept where they're at and of course, holding people accountable for their actions for yourself or creating for myself, creating boundaries around people maybe that aren't willing to hold themselves accountable or to do that introspection. And yeah, I just think it's kind of a constant reevaluating within relationships

It. Hey there. Thanks for responding. I appreciate your conversation around this topic because it really is important to I like what you said about your friend who is learning to kind of prune people who are going to be in your inner circle don't need to be crazy makers. Yeah, there was a woman who told me that a few years ago that she said none of my friends, my close friends, they're all people that have a certain level of self awareness and who hold themselves accountable

So I pray about it, I meditate about it, and I offer her to the universe for protection because she don't want to listen to me and my daughter, and I have to leave her where she's at at that moment. Hopefully, she'll come around, or sometimes we can have a decent conversation or whatever, but I don't stay in that place because it hurts me
