Recently, when considering to give boosters to all Americans, the FDA decided to narrowly give it to a smaller segment of the population. The reasoning was that the data wasn't necessarily supporting a general recommendation. And then many of these scientists and doctors were lamenting. That is a distraction from vaccinating those that haven't been yet at all. Thus, they want to mainly focus on convincing people to get vaccinated rather than making boosters available to all

You're going to feel bad for a while, but you're going to be back to normal, sort of like what happened to President Trump. They sort of look at all of that and go, Well, why bother? What they don't understand is that there is a percentage of people who get seriously ill, have long term effects from this and could end up in the hospital and die similar to the flu every year

You have people who are becoming hospitalized. Our hospitals are at capacity in these rural areas. So people are seeing people getting sick. They're seeing people dying. They're seeing people with long term effects. So they are seeing these things. But they don't make a distinguish between or they don't see a distinct difference between people who are vaccinated and are unvaccinated, because every time they see someone who's vaccinated who gets it and who spreads it, they say, What's the difference?

And how does that affect you? Because I think it's clear that you are reluctant or don't have very good view of this vaccine. And then, second of all, I thought your point about how people of color have traditionally felt alienated or even exploited or endangered by medicine in general and vaccines or treatments specifically

Yes, to some extent, government officials in the state of Missouri, that's a failure to educate people on what the vaccine can and cannot do and why we have to do things together. But then we also have to have personal responsibility for things. So it's a mixture of things. And unfortunately, that's what's happened in that situation

Thanks for replying again. I actually lived in that part of Michigan for a couple of years. So Ironically, I kind of know the difference between that area and this area. I'll point out something just in different France in the state you may or may not know about Missouri is that? Well, first of all, we have about a 50% statewide rate. I think of just one dose. I don't know if it's fully vaccinated

I think you need to understand that there's very wealthy people, very educated people, people from all sorts of walks of life who are choosing not to get vaccinated. And I think the numbers bear that out. So why you get vaccinated and why you don't get vaccinated is varied all over the place. So that's the only point I was trying to make. I don't think the view has anything to do with is going to affect any vaccine people at all
