Subscribing to Peacock made me go down the rabbit hole: musings on how streaming services have changed how we consume entertainment.
At that point, it was just the beginning of entertainment, having the potential to separate us rather than bind us in our home. It's even more apparent the fragmentation. I'll watch shows like on my phone using Headphones. Then next to me is my husband watching YouTube videos of bands he likes. And on the other side of me, my daughter watches YouTube videos of kids having fun. My adult son will be downstairs watching TikToks and playing Leagues of Legend on his computer
