What Halloween movies are you watching this weekend?

article image placeholderAddams Family 2
What what Halloween movies are you watching Weekend? The Spooky holiday is upon us and my family is going to be warm and cozy watching some movies to celebrate the Halloween spirit. I'd love to hear what you are watching and any recommendations would be good too. Our main plan is to watch the Adams family too, mainly for my daughter. I wasn't so impressed by the first one, but I think if you haven't seen the television show and you're a little kid, it would be fun

Spooky, scary, and fun! #popculture #movies #halloween

Hocus Pocus for sure

Hey, Melissa, I love Halloween, and I have a bit of a tradition where I watch Hocus Pocus every Halloween because I just never can get enough of it. So I probably will try and watch some other films as well, but Hocus Pocus will definitely be on the list

So many👻

It's quite progressive, so it's cool what Halloween movies can do anyway. Thank you so much for the invite to this conversation. I'm just babbling now with enthusiasm. Thanks

@JLMcMillan lots of good ideas

You just listed a whole bunch of movies that I've seen, but totally forgotten about, and it's interesting that so many of the movies are classic, older movies. That's kind of cool. And we did watch the AVAs Family, too, and it's just so goes off a tangent from the original premise that it's entertaining, I guess. But it was kind of weird. You mentioned us to be a monster fan

@NLOFrank a staple

A lot of people have the Hokos post thing, and it's interesting because I've only noticed it being something that people are excited about and watch religiously in the last couple of years. And I remember seeing it so many years ago for the first time and thinking it was Dorky. But I guess it's a cult classic now, but yeah, we saw it this year, too, and I showed it to my daughter and she's she enjoyed it

Happy Hallowe’en!🎃

But anyway, there's always lots and no matter what, when it's close to Halloween, there are lots of activities to get caught up in now, but good standbys are always Nightmare Before Christmas. Anything by Tim Burton Casper, which I find very adorable. And it does take place around Halloween. They're all great. And then for the Grownups, I also quite like The Lost Boys, which is another older flick, but really good fun, super cheesy, some great humor

Terra Train, which came out in 1980, starring Jamie Lee Curtis Helmet, which came out in starring Linda Blair, an obscure film that came out in 2007 called The Murder Party, which was the director of Green Room. It's his first film. Let's see what else? Dark Knight of the Scarecrow, which is a made for TV slasherfilm fantastic movie. One Dark Knight, which is a spooky, creepy film that came out in the 80s. Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Basically, I've just been on Shutter and anything that looks slightly appealing. I've been given it a go, and I haven't really been disappointed yet. I got to say also just a special shout out for a film I've spoken about here before. But Malignant, the new James Wan film. It is ridiculously, hilarious camp dials up to 1 million, but it is horror in a very fun way

@JLMcMillan can’t wait for the Munster movie!

I'm just getting round to listening to the rest of the responses here. And Jessica, a couple of things that you said that I wanted to talk about Monsters Camp. Excuse me. I, too, am in the Monsters camp, which I don't feel is something that you see every day. So I wanted to shout that out and also ask you, how excited are you for the Rob Zombie interpretation that's coming out soon. I've seen some set photos and it looks pretty darn cool

Stoked! @Taylor

Hi, Taylor. I am very excited about the new Rob Zombies monsters. And I started getting really pumped. Definitely. When I saw the mansion under construction. I just remember now. So the actual original one was used for Desperate Housewives, which is too bad. So it's like taking it back from Wisteria Lane and putting it back on 1313 Mockingbird Lane. And yeah, I'm a really big fan. Monster Go Home is one of my favorites. That movie makes me laugh so hard

@Taylor forgot about Beetlejuice!

I have completely forgotten about Beetle juice, so that is definitely going to be on my list of things to watch. So thank you
