But with social media, the spawns of pop culture icons and other celebrities can bring even more public humiliation to their parents. It's not just with celebrity kids and parents. Of course, lots of parents probably have to contend with their kids calling them out on social media or embarrassing them publicly online. Basically, in a world where even the average person's life can be visible as anyone famous, the public humiliation is equal opportunity. Now, what better way to get back at your parents than going online?

And thank you for bringing up some other examples of this because I think we as parents, me a parent, but other people as parents can learn from it. But I wonder if teenagers are learning something from it as well. What do you do when you are in a situation like that is going to social media the best way to do it? It might be for some kids. I mean, think about it. If you're an abusive situation, I could see that

I have a 20 year old son like you talked about your son, and he's actually my stepson, but I consider him my son, and he has spoken out on his own private social media about his own family experiences. So I've kind of watched him do that and give him advice about how to do that

Boy, you're giving me some really good insights here and thinking about parents, celebrity or otherwise, and they're involved involvement in social media themselves, but also their children's involvement in social media. I just think this discussion is always an interesting one, and you've highlighted the celebrity element of it
