How do you get to know yourself?
But at the end of the day, you can read that or you can sit alone with your thoughts and try to understand what you like and what you dislike and what you want in this life and what no longer serves you and all these sorts of things and taking a quiz or reading your horoscope for the day really isn't going to help you do that
Thank you for your response. I definitely think I agree in that these sorts of methods are tools rather than distractions, although I think if they're abused, they can easily become distracted. I think they sort of opened the door for people to feel more comfortable getting to know themselves because they have some basic knowledge to work from

I actually think that's the wrong way to go about the personality test or the astrology testing is to give you, like, a manual as to how to be. And as you stated, only you can kind of do that. So personality testing, for me, is something I do enjoy, but I understand it's a tool. It's a tool of preference. It's really giving you a ballpark estimation of how you interpret data and information

And I have to be honest with you, it was such a crazy experience to read descriptors of what INTJs can be like or things that may have happened to them based upon the cognitive functional stack and Carl Young and his typology and all that sort of stuff. But it was like, wow, that's crazy. I didn't get that from astrology. Like you were saying, I don't find astrology

Hello. I love the topic, and before I even I started to listen to your slow, and then I stopped and I said, Wait, just for fun. I wanted to guess and see if I could guess. I don't know why I would think I could do this based on the photo in 30 seconds talking
I think I used to be someone like that, and I think I first got or was introduced to astrology in high school, and the first time I read about what a Capricorn is and does, I was just blown away because I definitely do embody a lot of the traits in an aggressive way. And that way I just found it incredibly fascinating that this website or app or whatever calls me out for things I wasn't even aware that I did
The sun tells you about your style, your purpose, your destiny, and the authority of your personality. Your moon describes your habits, reactions, instincts, and how you may express or handle emotion. And then you're rising as the mask one wears to cope with life and their natural defenses

And it will generate a chart that depicts where all the planets were positioned according to the time of your birth and also the position

We actually sort of fell out due to astrology, not directly but indirectly, but anyway, she was heavy into that stuff and the Mercury rising and retrograde and all that keywords and stuff. I actually was talking to a lady before who was into astrology stuff. Also, she recommended me to watch a YouTube video on it, but it was like the expert stuff, so I didn't know anything she was talking about
I'm so glad that this was helpful to you and you took something away from it. I love to teach, and I am an aspiring educator, so I love to talk about things that people don't know a lot about, especially astrology, because there's so much to know, and I'm still learning a lot. So I definitely wouldn't consider myself an expert. I'm definitely a novice, possibly intermediate, but far from an expert

Maybe they don't feel good because they didn't get a cup of coffee or they didn't watch their favorite TV show or their lover left them or something like that. They tend to draw these conclusions as to why they're not happy. But once you get into the spiritual elements as well as the dare, I even say the scientific elements, the pseudoscience elements. You start to realize that there's more going on in this head of ours than merely just responding to dopamine
