Tips for a Wannabe Plant Parent

article image placeholderplant room
So if you have any recommendations for beginner plants preferably plants that thrive in low light because I don't have a ton of light or books or websites, resources that could provide me with a little bit of guidance that would be great. Or if you would just like to use the Swell to talk about how much you love plants in addition to giving me some advice that would be welcomed as well

Do you have any advice for someone who wants to own and care for plants? #plants #environment #nature #houseplant #hobbies

You can get them in different sizes or they'll keep growing if you repot them. And I have two right now that are doing pretty well, and one is in a bit more directly, and the other one isn't in quite as much light, but they're Hardy and I probably only water mine once a week at the most, more like every other week, depending on how much the soil dries out

So I'm not necessarily more knowledgeable than Bowie, but I did want to say that I find a lot of luck in plants from Ikea. So if you have an in a Kia near you, I highly recommend. I really like a Kia because they specify what each plant needs on the canister that the plant comes in the planter. It will say like how often you should water it, what amount of sunlight it needs. So it's really helpful to have that as a reference
