Storytime: A Story of Chelm

And they were originally written by an unknown German author. So even though these stories weren't created by a Jew, they are still significantly important to Jewish folklore because they have essentially been reclaimed and rewritten by Jewish voices and Jewish writers. And I just think it's that's absolutely amazing. So I'm going to reload those stories for you guys. Please feel free to share with me what you think, what your thoughts are and enjoy the story

The helmites gathered in the synagogue to hear the reading and to talk about the beauty of the holiday AI, this is such a beautiful Yomtov, ending the Torah with the death of Moses and then beginning right away with the creation of the world. Finally, the wise elders among the hellmites agree that the debate had to end. They realized that the only way to settle the debate once and for all would be for everyone to vote on, which was more important, the sun or the moon. The day after the holiday, the hallmites took a vote. They counted the votes carefully, over and over. You see, everyone had to take a turn counting the votes. Finally, they were ready to announce the results
