Conspiracy Theories

article image placeholderThe Illuminati
So before we do that, though, I would just want to go out here and give a Disclaimer, sort of set down a ground rule and say, this is not a place for us to make fun of people who believe in these things, just a space to discuss, acknowledge, and possibly debunk various conspiracy theories that we find interesting. So just keep that in mind. So the first conspiracy theories that comes to mind for me is the Flat Earth theory

Tell me your favorite conspiracy theories. Do you believe any? Why or why not? #conspiracy #unexplained #mystery http://www.pixartheory.com/

I think that a lot of young Americans would probably say, yeah. I mean, it certainly feels that way at any rate. Thanks for bringing this up. And I appreciate that you sort of presented it to us in a way that was constructive and was not really meant to poke fun at people, but rather just have a conversation

Antisemitic conspiracies

I shouldn't have used that word because violence just isn't even remotely important or mentioned or relevant in Judaism or Islam. But anyway, that's not the point. Thank you, Taylor, for responding and for contributing other influence information. You did. I really look forward to hearing what other people have to add. Let's keep this conversation going

So there's this conspiracy that blows my mind a little bit that was actually talked about in another spell that Christina posted about living in a simulation. And I don't know. Sometimes I genuinely look at myself in the mirror like I am a simulation. But I am going to be honest, I'm a little freaked out by this idea that we might be in a simulation

Is it because of our natural tendency to search for and find patterns in random things that happen around us and our need to create narratives and try to turn all these stray incidents and signals that we receive into some sort of coherent order to make some sense out of life? I really wonder, but I think this is something worth thinking about. So thank you for bringing this up

A couple of documentaries. A theory on conspiracy theorists.

There could be some facts mixed in with some inaccurate information. If you finally now see that when science is doing its thing, that it's not a concrete process, whatever solution or thing that is learned does not necessarily mean that is the truth. From now until forever, we're constantly learning, constantly adapting and changing our understandings

I feel like whenever you're trying to understand the world more the universe, more our purpose, more any of those things, then you're probably either going to seek out faith based explanations or conspiracies. I feel like there's really only two ends of the spectrum, and those are it also this is sort of random, but I think it's interesting that you brought up Princess Diana because I've recently heard of several accounts that claim that she's still alive in secret

So it's not so far out there to say that maybe we staged going on the moon. And some people think that's ridiculous, but you never know. But this documentary gave certain details as opposing the fact that we land on the moon. Anywhere from the gravity issue of the flag waving to the imprints of the ship on the moon. To just a couple of months after the initial land, the astronauts started dying off mysteriously so that information wouldn't be leaked
