So here's a huge tip for new anglers and for taking kids fishing. You definitely want to go prefish and know that there's fish there that are catchable. You want action, so you want success. Don't take someone a new fisher or a kid to a spot where you're uncertain about it or you haven't checked it out, you should have everything ready to go and kind of tee it up for them so they catch a whole bunch of fish or at least they have some action

It's so cool that you do camps for kids to fish and be outside and enjoy nature and I so wish I had had that when I was a kid and to have someone who's very knowledgeable about it and taking sustainable approaches to fishing.
