Presence Visualization

article image placeholderImagine you are behind the wheel
Presence is knowing that at the end of that meeting, you showed up, you were in the room, you were present with the conversation and the opportunity. So again, this is a muscle that needs to be developed. Presence and focus doesn't just happen, especially if you've trained yourself over years to be half there or to be distracted. Cool balance and presence are the key entry points to truly exceptional leadership. They are skills activated by practicing

Car visualization

It's black, it's sleek and you are now getting into it. However, you are getting into the passenger seat, open the door, feel the weight of it, glide open. You bend to sit on the chair that fits you perfectly. Close the door and get your seatbelt on, smell the leather and feel the comfort of the seatbelt, keeping you secure. The driver turns on the engine and you become aware of the car slowly beginning to move on to the road

An exhilarating ride :) thank you for sharing

Hi, Natalie. That was an exhilarating ride for me. Thank you for sharing this exercise. I really enjoyed it. I liked the visualization. I kept my eyes closed and kind of followed along and I felt like I was there. It was very, very vivid. So thank you for this exercise. I did it early morning on a weekend, so I was already fairly relaxed before the exercise
