"Employees are feeling burned ... as employers try to bring them back to the office" by Merriman, Greenway, and Montag-Smit

article image placeholderEmployees are feeling burned over broken work-from-home promises and corporate culture ‘BS’ as employers try to bring them back to the office
But the article mentions that she is not the only one who is trying to bundle the transition as the article mentions bundled the transition back to the office after over a year in which tens of millions of employees were forced to work from home. And so I was really fascinated by this because now we're in these new times where everyone is used to working from home. I'm using school from online. I mean, everyone's at home. And so now companies and schools are trying to transition back

timely article!

She was commuting 2 hours every day into work, working in hours and then driving 2 hours home. Now, since she's been working at home during the pandemic, her productivity and morale has increased. She's getting more work done. Her manager is very aware of that. So in fact, out of eleven people on her team, I think they are going to keep three or four of them working at home permanently. They're not even going to require them to come into the office
