Therapy: Yes or No?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LaritaMotivates
Me, personally, I think that therapy is helpful for people that are going through things in their lives, different issues, troubles, whether it's mental, whether it's a past trauma, a current trauma, or whether you're a person that can't fully express your feelings and emotions in a healthy way. So I believe that therapy would actually help you to get some of those things out and lay it out on the table and talk about it so you can actually get through it

And therapy needs to be part of anyone's health plan. It's a public safety health crisis that needs to be addressed in one way or another. And so, yeah, I am for therapy. All for it. People who have anger issues be able to talk about it, get a handle on that. Right? Maybe they won't be so quick to lash out. Maybe if therapy was offered in the schools, children will feel safe to talk about the issues at home

I really do appreciate the invite as well. I think I see the dichotomy of opinions here now, and I appreciate, I think, why I believe I was invited, I guess from the past couple of swell cast that I've posted. I don't have that bedside manner or that softness that everybody else has. I kind of have an opposite end of the spectrum type of perspective. But look, I have tried therapy in desperately bad times in my life

I don't know about anyone else, but Swell is not being swelled today. This is my third post where I've left a very well thought out swell ended like shuts down, but anyway, my answer was simply yes. I'm not going to say everything else I said because I just don't feel like it. It took a lot of energy at work, so just yes

Therapy:A resounding Yes!!!!

If you just give me an assessment, it'll be fine. They do not want a cognition test like the one I got that kicked me out of college. I can't handle that. Olive I can't go through that again. It was an all day test my grandmother took me. I was walking in this little room. It was horrible

I do believe a good therapist can help us find a self compassion reciprocity that we may have lost with ourselves because we often damage self in order to help others. We always put self last in order to make other things, situations and people first. And a lot of times we're so tired of dealing with other people's feelings that we negate our own feelings, knowing that that's the most important feeling to have. Right?

And I shoved it away and tried to be normal for a long, long time until it started affecting my nature and caused anger issues and whatnot, and it started affecting me in a bad way. And so my mother booked me for a therapy session. And after that therapy session, I knew that I needed it. And honestly, I can say that it has helped me accept my emotions and feelings for a lot of things
