So this whole Ukraine crisis has really been thrown into the spotlight because there are a lot of journalistic well, I don't even know what to call it, but journalistic nightmares is what I like to call it in terms of how the stories being reported and the refugee crisis that's happening with so many of them having to go into Poland and all these other countries, because basically they're being bombed out of their homes

And sometimes when we watch the news, we share our experience with other people, obviously, in conversation just like this, and it becomes this confusion. And we look at things in a different way. And I think it's really sad that the news can put such a spin on things, especially when people are suffering and to show how people are taken care of or not taken care of

And while they most certainly are fighting for survival, you'd sort of be hard pressed to find them speaking about anything that happened in the Middle East with the same sort of tone. You think about America's involvement in the Middle East and how I mean, we completely destabilize an entire region. Our presence there has been hated for years and years and years. Images like the ones we're seeing of buildings blown up and people charred like these are things that America and other countries have done to other people

And they don't tolerate that at all. The one thing I love about Al Jazeera is they don't tolerate that at all. We are not there to give our opinions. We are there to tell the story, the story of the people, because that's what it's about

I listened to this entire conversation last night and I was so upset. And I woke up this morning to, I guess, a bit of gratitude that MSNBC has covered the same topic public because the BBC reporter says it's very emotional for me because I see European people with blue eyes and blonde hair being killed. It's right there overtly and they're capturing it. And I'm grateful

It's still something to be concerned about for all of us because it only takes the push of one button, the wrong word to be said, the wrong action. And next thing you know, we are in World War II. So this is so much bigger than any of us. But thank you so much for your inspirational words. And thank you so much for or your reply. Have a wonderful day. Bye
