So she left Tuskegee, and with her and her entire family, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she purchased a house on twelveTH Street which was known as the Rector House and is continually being used as a local nonprofit today because the intention is to restore it for history and cultural preservation. Now, I know you're wondering what happened to her money. Well, she lived a good life, lavish. She entertained Count Basie, Duke Ellington

Wow. That is an amazing story. It's so cinematic. I was just thinking about just the journey and her ability to move through systems that were so horrible and yet be able to build such a legacy. I'm so interested in her story. I'm going to go and Google it. Look what you did. You took me away from work and I'm going to Google Sarah, which is a pleasure and an honor.
